A youth center burns down. The body of 40-year-old Ulf Meinert is found in the building. At first everything indicates that he started the fire, but then chief inspectors Eva Saalfeld and Andreas Keppler find a lead that leads to the owners of the land where the youth center was located. The Kleebergs want to sell it because their auction house is heavily in debt. So far, the project has failed due to resistance from the youth center operator.
