アーリス・ハワード
米ミズーリ州出身。1976年にコロンビアカレッジを卒業する。79年TVドラマに初出演し、「プロディガル」（83）で映画デビュー。スタンリー・キューブリック監督作「フルメタル・ジャケット」（87）のカウボーイ役で注目を集め、スティーブン・スピルバーグ監督の「ロスト・ワールド ジュラシック・パーク」（97）でも助演を務める。初めて監督・脚本・製作を手がけた「Big Bad Love」（01）ではカンヌ国際映画祭カメラドール（新人監督賞）の候補に挙げられた。その後は「きみがぼくを見つけた日」（09）、「マネーボール」（11）、「コンカッション」（15）などで名バイプレイヤーとして活躍。近年の出演作にデビッド・フィンチャー監督作「Mank マンク」（20）などがある。「ワイルダー・ナパーム」（93）で共演した女優のデブラ・ウィンガーと96年に結婚、おしどり夫婦として知られる。
ジョナス・メロ
