Sir Simon Rattle and the Berliner Philharmoniker present Peter Sellars’s staging of Bach’s St Matthew Passion for the first time in the UK. Mark Padmore’s Evangelist leads a starry cast that also includes celebrated German baritone Christian Gerhaher.
