Jiu Gao, who had previously avoided his mother's marital arrangements, is trying to let Yu Chan know how he feels, but she treats him like an annoying younger brother. A Zhi, who was rescued by Master Lu and Lan Xiang's father from the Qingyan brothel, reappears and claims to have information on Ji Er's whereabouts.
