At the Ministry of the Interior, a German industrialist issues a threat: he will close his company's headquarters in Austria unless the murder of his wife—who was killed a year ago near their farmhouse in the Tyrolean mountains—is finally solved. Consequently, Moritz Eisner is dispatched to crack the case.
