Kate is secretly seething when Chrissie happily boasts about the Watts' new-found wealth and happiness. She realises that Den has been lying to her about the sale of the flat and determines to confront him and demand the truth. After a dangerous and potentially fatal accident in the Cafe, a furious Jane walks out on Ian, leaving him to fend with unhappy customers alone.
