Kyle Mitchell
It all started with a Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial. Kyle's love of chicken and acting (in no particular order) has grown ever since. The son of a musician and a very patient mother, Kyle was raised on chicken and spankings from the time he was old enough to remember. Growing up in Edmonton, Canada proved to be excellent training for a bright future in showbiz. Often being pulled from school to play hooky and help his dad load musical gear into sleazy saloons on frosty afternoons, Kyle found adventure and used gum under each and every high-top bar table. The smell of showbiz, cigarettes and stale beer were truly in the air in dark taverns such as, The Transit Hotel, The Park Hotel, The Rex Hotel, Beverly Crest, The Drake, The New West and The Klondiker to name but a few of Kyle'e childhood haunts. The bee-hive haired waitresses all took a shine to Kyle's natural sobriety and would keep Kyle's glass of coke, full and cold; and to this day, he's a "glass fully full", kind of guy. Years later, chicken would once again become an important part of Kyle's life during a two-season, 21-episode run as a continuity performer on the TV show, Jake and the Kid. You see, Kyle ate a lot of chicken during those "fat" years from making the big "Jake" bucks. Many years later, during an intense therapy session, it was discovered that Kyle's penchant for poulet had nothing to do with his appearance as a 6-year old in that KFC commercial, it was simply that he "enjoyed the texture". Much to the relief of his therapist, they could finally move on to why he still enjoyed being spanked so much. Kyle's ancestry is reminiscent of a Jackson Pollack painting and he spent most of his youth worrying about the fleeting nature of youth. He was also very active in sports and seriously considered playing professional basketball (his nickname was "The White Larry Bird") until he realized he couldn't dribble, pass or shoot.

With Maines as lead vocalist, the band earned 10 Country Music Association Awards and 13 Grammy Awards for their work between 1998 and 2007. On the eve of the Iraq invasion, while in concert in London for the 2003 Top of the World Tour, Maines commented that the Dixie Chicks were "...ashamed the President of the United States is from Texas." Negative public reaction in the United States to this comment resulted in boycotts by country music radio stations and death threats. In 2006, with Maines still acting as lead singer, the Dixie Chicks released Taking the Long Way. The album subsequently won five Grammy Awards (including Album of the Year). After graduation, the sisters forged an alliance with two other women they had met through the Dallas music scene, Laura Lynch and Robin Lynn Macy, forming a bluegrass and country music band, busking and touring the bluegrass festival circuits for six years. After the departure of Macy, and the replacement of Lynch with singer-songwriter Natalie Maines, the band widened their musical repertoire and appearance. Johnny Cash
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. John R. "Johnny" Cash (born J. R. Cash; February 26, 1932 – September 12, 2003) was an American singer-songwriter, actor, and author, who has been called one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. Although he is primarily remembered as a country music artist, his songs and sound spanned many other genres including rockabilly and rock and roll—especially early in his career—as well as blues, folk, and gospel. This crossover appeal led to Cash being inducted in both the Country Music Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Late in his career, Cash covered songs by several rock artists, among them the industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails and he covered the synthpop band Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus. Cash was known for his deep, distinctive bass-baritone voice; for the "boom-chicka-boom" freight train sound of his Tennessee Three backing band; for his rebelliousness, coupled with an increasingly somber and humble demeanor; for providing free concerts inside prison walls; and for his dark performance clothing, which earned him the nickname "The Man in Black". He traditionally started his concerts by saying, "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash." and usually following it up with his standard "Folsom Prison Blues." Much of Cash's music, especially that of his later career, echoed themes of sorrow, moral tribulation and redemption. His signature songs include "I Walk the Line", "Folsom Prison Blues", "Ring of Fire", "Get Rhythm" and "Man in Black". He also recorded humorous numbers, including "One Piece at a Time" and "A Boy Named Sue"; a duet with his future wife, June Carter, called "Jackson"; as well as railroad songs including "Hey, Porter" and "Rock Island Line". Cash, a devout but troubled Christian, has been characterized as a "lens through which to view American contradictions and challenges." A Biblical scholar, he penned a Christian novel titled Man in White, and he made a spoken word recording of the entire New King James Version of the New Testament. Even so, Cash declared that he was "the biggest sinner of them all", and viewed himself overall as a complicated and contradictory man. Accordingly, Cash is said to have "contained multitudes", and has been deemed "the philosopher-prince of American country music". Vinzenz Kiefer
Vinzenz Kiefer was born in 1979 in Weilburg/Lahn. He grew up in a small village between two farms. He loved chasing chickens as well as building cabins in the woods and playing with fire. His parents' video collection was also an early passion of his (later on he took care of it completely and since then, he has expanded it significantly). Movies like "King of Kings", "Zorro", "Three Musketeers", and "Robin Hood" were key experiences while he was a boy, as well as films about pirates. Later on titles like "Batman" and "Legend" would find his attention, and Vinzenz could be seen quite often in a Batman costume - or running around, painting big Zs on front doors. After trying to invent a time machine several times or to find diamonds in the forests or to dig a hole to the center of the earth (and failing each time, of course) he finally turned to every-day life and meeting people and finding friends. Learning by doing became to be one of his favorite principles, and he used it to get familiar with riding a motor scooter, smoking or finding his rank within the gang and impressing the girls. One day while visiting the Cologne film studios Vinzenz was crowded by a bunch of girls pleading for his autograph. Some people in a production studio watched this scene and invited him for an interview, after which he was offered a part in a TV series. Vinzenz declined because he did not feel ready to leave his home and his friends. But the production studio kept on asking him, and so, after finishing school, Vinzenz finally agreed to take this chance.
