He acquired national prominence as an exceptional hockey player in the Midlands. He attended university in the San Francisco Bay area. Raz was a founder and artistic director of The Wandering Players Theater Company. The Company staged several World and US premieres of plays from India. This was the first professional South Asian theatre company in the USA. In the mid-seventies, Raz arrived in Hollywood: a career as an actor was unheard of at a time when roles for South Asian actors in Hollywood television shows and films were limited. Raz had been quoted: “People, especially friends and relatives scoffed at the idea of my becoming an actor. They thought it was a passing fancy and would soon be over. But no, I had a dream and take what it may I journeyed on to make my dream a reality.” He became the first ever South Asian actor to be signed on as a regular in a major TV series, St Elsewhere. He was a cast member for the first two seasons of the medical drama, and after being let go continued to appear on a recurring basis. Raz has appeared in over 200 plays, TV shows and films, including guest appearances on The A-Team, M*A*S*H and Star Trek: The Next Generation. In 1978, Raz founded the production company, K.R. Films Hollywood. Its debut, Lehren - a television weekly variety series for the Asian audience - was shown throughout the United States and Canada. In 1988, K.R. Studios was built in Granada Hills. Housing several buildings including the main studio, it has state-of-art equipment for film and television productions, as well as a multi-track recording facility for post production and recording needs. The studio is now home to many award winning producers, writers and directors engaged in the production of commercials, TV programmes, music videos and films. Raz began his career as a filmmaker with The Gold Bracelet, a movie about a Sikh man faced with the realities of post-9/11. Megan Hayes photo

Megan Hayes

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Megan Hayes knew from a young age, that entertaining would be her calling. Megan spent most of her youth either playing superhero, while in her Wonder Woman Underoos or looking like a boy in a dress. At 15 she discovered that an audience's laughter is a euphoric drug, when she starred in her high school production of The Pajama Game. This performance sealed her fate, to pursue a life as an actor. After high school, Megan attended Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, wondering all the while, "What am I doing in the middle of Amish Farmland?" After her freshman year at Kenyon, she transferred to New York University's Tisch School of the Art, where she studied at the Experimental Theatre Wing. After graduating with honors in Acting, Megan began writing and performing her own work. She started Southern Belle Productions (SBP), a company dedicated to giving a voice to emerging artists. SBP produced a short film, several One Acts and Megan's own full-length play, Opelika, which had two sold out runs in New York. Despite loving New York and all that it had to offer, Megan decided to move back to Atlanta, which was a great decision considering this is where her film and television career truly got its start. While continuing to do countless theater projects, Megan was cast in HBO's Eastbound and Down, What to Expect When You Are Expecting, the IFC thriller +1, from the director of The Last House on the Left Dennis Iliadis, as well as numerous commercials and TV guest spots. However, as luck would have it, the second film in the Hunger Games trilogy, Catching Fire, was shooting in Atlanta. Megan was cast as The Morphling, the tribute from District 6. Now in Los Angeles, Megan continues to hone her craft, acting in all mediums, teaching drama, and writing. Megan loves dogs, and had two pups of her own, one now lives with her family in Atlanta. She is also passionate about bringing awareness to the stigma attached to Mental Health issues, as her father suffered from them for many years.

Heiko Obermöller photo

Heiko Obermöller

Cast · Known for Die Anrheiner

Heiko Obermöller started his theatrical life at the age of 16 singing and acting in several musicals such as "Jesus Christ Superstar," in which he toured all over Germany in 1990. He was soon spotted by a German casting director, who, impressed by his talent, invited him to a TV audition, which led to Heiko's first episodic lead in German television. Around the same time he won first prize in a competition for young German pianists, and at the tender age of 19 he was suddenly confronted with a major problem: Which profession should he choose? Acting or music? So, of course he wound up going to law school! However, he somehow found the time to continue his acting career, which led him to a continuing role in the German soap opera "Jede Menge Leben," followed by his first leading role in RTL's prime time series "Titus, der Satansbraten." He also worked in feature films and had another regular role in the longtime hospital series "St. Angela." Heiko's musical career also flourished, and in 1996 he was selected to sing in the German Boy Band "One Way" and released his first recording, "Joy and Pain." All this while still studying torts and misdemeanors! Plus, around that time he also started a successful career as a voice artist, starring in several radio plays for the WDR radio station. He became one of the top voice-over talents in Germany, acting in commercials, film dubbing and narration, continuing to this day. Then, when he was still only 25, he met Professor Rudolf Debiel, a well-known actor and director, who worked with Erwin Piscator and Peter Zadek, and who soon became his mentor. Professor Debiel invited Heiko to join the Freie Literaturbühne, his theatre group in Cologne, and for the next four years he starred in many of Professor Debiel's plays. During that time, Heiko also performed in theatre engagements in Bochum at the "Comödie" and in Krefeld's "Kresch-Theater." But while theatre remained Heiko's love and passion, he realized he needed continuing exposure in TV and Film - not to mention a steady and more reliable paycheck. So, he accepted a leading role in "Die Anrheiner," which soon became a very successful WDR series, and remained there for ten years, finally leaving the show in 2007 after performing in nearly 500 episodes. He has also indulged his love of writing and directing, and his first Production, "Einer für Alle. Alle für Einen" was nominated for the best upcoming radio play in 2006. Heiko is now pursuing acting jobs in the USA, the UK and Germany. Oh, and in case you were wondering, Heiko dropped out of law school. - IMDb Mini Biography By: anonymous
