Ariel Bar Tzadok
Cast · Known for Ancient Aliens
Rabbi Ariel Bar Tzadok is a frequent guest on the History Channel's Ancient Aliens and the founder of the KosherTorah School. He is known for bridging the gap between Orthodox Jewish tradition, Kabbalah, and the modern "Ancient Astronaut" theory. His perspective is unique because he argues that what modern society calls "aliens" or "UFOs" are actually the same entities described in ancient Jewish texts as angels, demons, and the Nephilim. Core Philosophy: "We Are Not Alone" Bar Tzadok teaches that Torah and Kabbalah explicitly document encounters with non-human intelligences. He posits several key ideas: • Identical Entities: He believes that "aliens" are simply a modern, secular label for spiritual or physical beings that were well-known to the ancients. To him, an "alien abduction" might be what a Kabbalist would call a "visionary experience" or an "encounter with a Shed (demon)." • The Nephilim & Fallen Angels: He often discusses the "Watchers" (from the Book of Enoch) and the Nephilim (Genesis 6), interpreting them as extraterrestrial or interdimensional beings who interacted with and genetically influenced humanity. • Dimensional Reality: Rather than just "beings from other planets," he often describes these entities as interdimensional. He uses the Kabbalistic concept of multiple worlds (Atzilut, Beriah, Yetzirah, and Asiyah) to explain where these beings reside and how they cross into our physical realm. • Ma’aseh Merkavah: He interprets the "Work of the Chariot" (Ezekiel’s vision) as a literal description of advanced technology or celestial craft, rather than purely symbolic poetry. Media Appearances and Works Bar Tzadok’s role on Ancient Aliens is usually to provide the "Jewish/Kabbalistic perspective" on specific topics like the Ark of the Covenant, the Mana machine, or ancient high technology. Key Books on the Subject: • Aliens, Angels, and Demons: His most prominent work on this topic, exploring extraterrestrial life through the lens of Judaism and Kabbalah. • What Torah Says About Extraterrestrial Life: An Orthodox review of UFO phenomena, close encounters, and government conspiracies. Reception In the Orthodox world, Bar Tzadok is a polarizing figure. While he is a traditionally trained Rabbi (ordained in Jerusalem), his willingness to engage with UFO culture and "Ancient Astronaut" theories is viewed by many mainstream scholars as "unconventional" or "fringe." However, he maintains that he is simply uncovering "Sitrei Torah" (secrets of the Torah) that have been hidden for centuries. Would you like me to find a list of specific Ancient Aliens episodes he has appeared in, or perhaps a summary of his views on a specific biblical object like the Ark of the Covenant?

Olsen was born in Ogden, Utah, to Mormon parents Edward Arenholt Olsen and Martha Hoverholst, who named him after the Moroni found in the Book of Mormon. Some sources have claimed that Olsen's birth name was John Willard Clawson, but there appears to be no support for this claim. Olsen studied at Weber Stake Academy, the predecessor of Weber State University. He then went to study at the University of Utah, where one of his teachers was Maud May Babcock. During World War I, he sold war bonds for the United States Navy. He also studied and performed in the Eastern United States around this time. In 1923, Olsen organized the "Moroni Olsen Players" out of Ogden. They performed at both Ogden's Orpheum Theatre and at various other locations spread from Salt Lake City to Seattle. After having worked on Broadway, he made his film debut in a 1935 adaptation of The Three Musketeers. He later played a different role in a 1939 comedy version of the story, starring Don Ameche as D'Artagnan and the Ritz Brothers as three dimwitted lackeys who are forced to substitute for the musketeers, who have drunk themselves into a stupor. His most famous role was the voice of the Slave in The Magic Mirror in Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). Olsen also provided the voice of the senior angel in It's a Wonderful Life. Olsen was an active member of the LDS Church, being a teacher of youth in the Hoolwood Ward. He also appeared in television productions, Divided by Hate; Perfect Murder, Perfect Town; Shot in the Heart; and Touched by an Angel. He appeared as Helam in The Testaments: Of One Fold and One Shepherd, directed by Kieth Merrill. Of the experience he said: I really had no idea that The Testaments would impact my life so profoundly, but it did. The Book of Mormon segments of that film, shot in Hawaii, took about two months to film. As I strengthened my skills in acting I knew early on that this gift or talent that the Lord had given me would be used for missionary work and as such one tries to live the missionary life so that the Spirit can be with you to do whatever the Lord requires. [The scene where the blinded Helam is healed by Christ] was very poignant for me and, as I found out later, for many of the cast members and visitors that were on the set that day. We were told by one of the General Authorities that, though many of us had great talent in this field, it was not enough. The Lord would have to bless us beyond our natural abilities to do the work that this film meant to do. This last scene in the film was evidence of that very thing. The Lord blessed us with a great outpouring of his spirit. It was and still is very humbling to have been a part of that experience. After shooting that scene, and a couple others that followed, Kieth Merrill took me aside and said, “You realize I’m not the one directing this film, don’t you?” He has taught acting lessons for many years. He had a private workshop called The Actor’s Academy for sixteen years and was a part-time instructor at Pioneer High School for the Performing Arts. He and his wife, Marsha, live in Provo, Utah, and are the parents of three children.

Jennifer Holland is an American actress best known for her role as Emilia Harcourt in James Gunn’s HBO television series Peacemaker (2022–2024), where she emerged as a key part of the show’s core ensemble. Her performance helped establish Harcourt as one of the more grounded and serious presences within Gunn’s DC projects, balancing action-driven storytelling with character-focused moments. Holland’s most prominent later work has been tied to DC Comics projects under Gunn, beginning with her debut as Harcourt in The Suicide Squad (2021), followed by appearances in Black Adam (2022) and Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023). She later carried the role into animation with Creature Commandos (2024–), making her one of the few performers to portray the same character across DC’s live-action and animated continuities. Earlier in her career, Holland appeared in a range of film and television projects, including a recurring role as Becky Phillips on CMT’s Sun Records (2017), the comedy American Pie Presents: The Book of Love (2009), and guest roles on established network series American Horror Story (2011–), Bones (2005–2017), Rush Hour (2016), and CSI: Miami (2002–2012). Her appearance in James Gunn’s Brightburn (2019) marked a clear turning point toward higher-profile genre projects. In her personal life, Holland began a relationship with filmmaker James Gunn in 2015, and the couple married in 2022.
