Martin Bishop photo

Martin Bishop

Martin Bishop traded in his role as an industry bigwig to follow his dreams of making it as an actor. Any manual on writing movie scripts will tell you that somewhere in the first few minutes you need a Big Event, an upheaval that tips the balance and sends the characters marching off into the story. For Martin Bishop the Big Event came in April 2002. Then he was the chairman of QS firm Franklin + Andrews, negotiating an historic merger with engineering firm Mott MacDonald. The deal was due to be completed on the 19th, but last-minute complications arose. It was a tense time for Bishop. On the 21st, a major artery in his neck decided to down tools and he found himself flat on his back in a hospital bed. He was OK, although he had to play his part in finishing negotiations by telephone from his hospital bed. Back on his feet in a few days, he showed up at the new company for his new job – as global head of customer service – and realised he wasn't up for it. He resigned. Bishop had always been a keen amateur actor, taking many lead roles, latterly at the drama society at London's Hurlingham Club. Also, he'd always wondered how things might have been after schoolmate Kevin Whately (aka Lewis in Inspector Morse) switched to acting after a couple of years as an accountant. So, with Death's breath still chilly on his shoulder, it seemed natural to enrol at the GSA Conservatoire (formerly the Guildford School of Acting). His television credits include roles in The Fugitives, Urban Legends, Brief Encounters, The Crown, Doctors, Belgravia, Optimisty:Karibskly sezon, The Nevers, Ted Lasso, The Sandman, Dangerous Liaisons, The Flatshare, Renegade Nell and EastEnders. Film roles include Legend, Mum's List, Wonder Woman, The Mummy, Holmes & Watson, Mr. Jones, Once Upon a Time in London, The Hustle, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Breaking Infinity, Hitmen and Red, White & Royal Blue. On stage, he appeared in productions of Macbeth, As You Like It, She Stoops to Conquer, The Confidential Clerk, A Christmas Carol, The Browning Version, Swan Song, Sam, The Highest Jumper of Them All, The Scottsboro Boys, The Rivals and Curtains.

Keith Buterbaugh photo

Keith Buterbaugh

Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Keith grew up loving the outdoors, skiing, fishing, and camping until his parents returned to their roots in the Amish country of Western Pennsylvania. It was here, during his teenage years that he discovered music, acting and theatre. He received a bachelors degree in music education/trumpet from Clarion University and then spent the next three years as a high school band director in Northwestern Pa. From there, he moved to South Florida to work on a masters degree from the University of Miami in theatre/voice. After graduating, New York became his home as he pursued his love affair with story telling and performance. Within three years, he was co-starring with Tammy Grimes, Off-Broadway in "Mademoiselle Colombe", when Harold Prince saw his work and invited him to join the Broadway company of "Phantom Of The Opera". Since then he has starred in Broadway productions working with Stephen Sondheim and John Doyle, regional theatre, opera, and an appearance at the White House for President George H. Bush. Symphonic concerts have taken him all over the world with Skitch Henderson and Peter Nero. Early television appearances lead to more definitive work in film and episodic television, including "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", "Royal Pains" and "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll". Recent film work includes "Joker", "Red", "Diving Normal", and "Crime Partners". As a writer, his screen play "Conduit" finds the most cynical woman on earth traveling through time to alter the events of 33 AD. Outrageous exploits and shocking discoveries force her to confront personal demons or risk a cataclysmic change of history. Keith continues to make the New York area a home for his family, and when he's not busy on set or in the theatre, he spends much of his time pursing his love for flying. As a single engine pilot, his perfect weekend is a flight to some location where he can return to the outdoors, golfing, scuba diving, skiing, camping or fishing. (Biography by SYI.)

Sara Stockbridge photo

Sara Stockbridge

Sara Stockbridge (born Sarah Jane Stockbridge on 14 November 1965 in Woking, Surrey, England)  is an English model and actress who achieved a certain level of high fashion notoriety in the mid to late 1980s as the muse of designer Vivenne Westwood. Bleached blonde and green-eyed, she epitomized Westwood's obsession with Royal style at the time, often seen out in a velvet and tweed crown based on the one Queen Elizabeth II wears. Stockbridge's naughty take on Marilyn Monroe, with smudged red lipstick, hair worn up in pin-curls, tight sweaters and heels was one of the iconic 'looks' of the late 80s. She was featured on the cover of i-d magazine and Blitz magazine among others, though she was never fully embraced by the more mainstream high-fashion world. Her modelling career was cut short by the birth of her son, Max, in 1990. She has a daughter named Lelu. Her children have different fathers. Sara's father was a civil engineer. Sara and her brother spent their early childhood with their family living in Trinidad, Bahrain, and Peru before returning to Woking in the late 1970s. Sara modelled as Tank Girl for a series of promotional photos to help her gain the part of Tank Girl in the movie of the same name. Although she was unsuccessful in getting the part, the photos themselves became well known and for a time they were seen on the covers of magazines such as ELLE, Vogue and The Face. She appeared as a shorn headed dominatrix in the British comedy film U.F.O. In the film Oh Marbella! she plays the rich wife of a businessman at a nude resort in Spain, quite unlike her real self she has claimed in trailers. Stockbridge is still active in the modelling / acting world, and recently she returned for appearances on Westwood's runways, and in British Vogue as her muse. Her first novel Hammer was published in 2009, and has been given a contract to write another book.
