Harrison Ford photo

Harrison Ford

Cast · Known for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Blade Runner 2049, The Empire Strikes Back

Legendary Hollywood Icon Harrison Ford was born on July 13, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. His family history includes a strong lineage of actors, radio personalities, and models. Ford attended public high school in Park Ridge, Illinois where he was a member of the school Radio Station WMTH. Ford worked as the lead voice for sports reporting at WMTH for several years. Acting wasn't a major interest to Ford until his junior year at Ripon College when he first took an acting class. Ford's career started in 1964 when he travelled to California in search of a voice-over job. He never received that position, but instead signed a contract with Columbia Pictures where he earned $150 weekly to play small fill in roles in various films. Through the '60s Ford worked on several TV shows including Gunsmoke, Ironside, Kung Fu, and American Style. It wasn't until 1967 that he received his first credited role in the Western film, A Time for Killing. Dissatisfied with the meager roles he was being offered, Ford took a hiatus from acting to work as a self-employed carpenter. This seemingly odd diversion turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Harrison's acting career when he was soon hired by famous film producer George Lucas. This was a turning point in Ford's life that led to him be casted in milestone roles such as Han Solo and Indiana Jones. Since his most famous roles in the original Star Wars trilogy and Raiders of the Lost Ark, Ford has appeared in over 40 films. Many criticize his late-career work, saying his performances have been lackluster, leading to commercially disappointing films. Ford has always worked hard to protect his off-screen private life, keeping details about his children and marriages quiet. He has a total of five children including one recent adoption with third and current wife Calista Flockhart. In addition to acting, Ford is passionate about environmental conservation, aviation, and archeology.

Cyril Ritchard photo

Cyril Ritchard

Legendary for his preening, prancing, delightfully playful villain Captain Hook on the award-winning stage (as well as TV) opposite America's musical treasure Mary Martin, beloved musical star Cyril Ritchard had a vast career that would last six decades, but "Peter Pan" would become his prime legacy. Born in Australia just before the turn of the century, he was educated at St. Aloysius College and Sydney University wherein he slyly sidestepped a parental-guided career in medicine for entertainment, participating in numerous college productions that quickly got him "hooked." He began professionally in the chorus line of The Royal Comic Opera Company and quickly progressed to juvenile leads. A subsequent pairing with the already-established theatre actress Madge Elliott in 1918 proved successful, and the musical twosome eventually married in 1935. Together they would go on to become known as "The Musical Lunts" by their acting peers performing in scores of plays and revues together. Ritchard specialized in playing slick, dandified villains in musical comedy and developed a potent reputation of being a man of many talents. Not only directing and staging Broadway's finest, he became a renown performer of various operas and led many productions as such. Shortly before his wife's death of bone cancer in 1955, Ritchard ventured into TV infamy by repeating his Tony and Donaldson award-winning portrayal of Hook in Peter Pan (1955). He continued to earn acclaim and/or honors with such classic stage productions as "Visit to a Small Planet" (Tony-nominated), "The Pleasure of His Company" (Drama League award, Tony-nominated), "The Roar of the Greasepaint...the Smell of the Crowd" (Tony-nominated), "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Sugar," the musical version of the classic Billy Wilder film Some Like It Hot (1959) in which Ritchard played the Joe E. Brown role. Lesser regarded when it comes to film, he performed in the early Hitchcock classic Blackmail (1929) and made his last movie with the musical Half a Sixpence (1967) with Tommy Steele. While performing as the Narrator in a stage production of "Side by Side by Sondheim" in November 1977, Ritchard suffered a heart attack and died one month later. A one-of-a-kind talent, his nefarious, narcissistic humor was a career trademark that culminated in the role of a lifetime -- one that will certainly be enjoyed by children young and old for eons to come.

Dwight Hicks photo

Dwight Hicks anchored the San Francisco 49ers' legendary secondary during their dynasty years, emerging from humble beginnings to become a four-time Pro Bowl safety and two-time Super Bowl champion. Born April 5, 1956, in Mount Holly Township, New Jersey, Hicks attended Pennsauken High School before starring at the University of Michigan (1975-1978), where he earned All-Big Ten honors in 1976 and 1977, and Second-team All-American recognition in 1977. He gained national attention with outstanding performances in the 1976 Orange Bowl and consecutive Rose Bowl appearances. After playing three games with the Toronto Argonauts in 1978, Hicks signed with the 49ers in 1979 while working in a health food store stockroom in Detroit. He played seven seasons with San Francisco (1979-1985) before finishing his career with the Indianapolis Colts in 1986. Hicks earned four consecutive Pro Bowl selections (1981-1984), won Super Bowls XVI and XIX, and served as defensive captain from 1983-1985. He recorded 32 career interceptions for 602 yards with three touchdowns, plus 14 fumble recoveries. Hicks' strengths defined elite safety play: exceptional ball-hawking instincts (led NFL with 9 interceptions and 239 return yards in 1981), hard-hitting physicality, and inspirational leadership. At just 25 years old in 1981, he led a secondary nicknamed "Dwight Hicks and his Hot Licks" that featured rookies Ronnie Lott, Eric Wright, and Carlton Williamson—making history in 1984 when all four were selected to the Pro Bowl, only the second time an entire secondary received that honor. His greatest moments showcased clutch performance and leadership: (1) Super Bowl XVI—after the 49ers fumbled the opening kickoff, Hicks made a crucial freelance interception at Cincinnati's 5-yard line, returning it 27 yards to set up a touchdown that gave San Francisco a lead they never relinquished in the 26-21 victory; (2) Two-touchdown defensive performance against Washington—Hicks returned a fumble 80 yards for a touchdown and added a 32-yard interception return for a score in a 30-17 victory; (3) The legendary "Remember the feeling" speech—following a heartbreaking 1983 NFC Championship loss to Washington, Hicks delivered an impassioned locker room address that inspired the 1984 49ers to a 15-1 record and Super Bowl XIX championship. After football, Hicks successfully transitioned to a prolific acting career, becoming a sought-after character actor in Hollywood. Relocating to Southern California to devote himself to the craft, he landed roles in major feature films alongside some of cinema's biggest stars, including The Rock (1996) with Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage, Armageddon (1998) with Bruce Willis, Jack (1996) starring Robin Williams and Bill Cosby, and In the Mix (2005). His television résumé spans diverse genres and networks, with memorable appearances on popular shows including How I Met Your Mother, Castle, Body of Proof, Cold Case, The Practice, The X-Files, ER, and The O.C. Hicks also brought his football expertise back to Bay Area audiences as co-host of The Point After, KTVU's highly rated post-game show that aired immediately following 49ers Sunday broadcasts.
