Ron Gans
While many people may not know Ron Gans' face, any self-respecting fan of 70s drive-in exploitation cinema should be highly familiar with his extremely distinctive and unmistakable deep'n'dulcet velvet smooth golden throat voice. Gans lent his deliciously plummy tones to numerous theatrical trailers for Roger Corman's New World Pictures which include "The Student Nurses," "The Big Doll House," "Bury Me An Angel," "Night Call Nurses," "The Big Bird Cage," "The Arena," "Caged Heat," and "The Great Texas Dynamite Chase." Gans also did the trailers for "Terminal Island" and "The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane." Moreover, Gans' booming sonorous voice can be heard on the radio spots for John Carpenter's "Halloween" and Lucio Fulci's "Zombie." Gans hilariously sent up his trailer work in the sidesplitting "Catholic High School Girls in Trouble" sketch in the riotous anthology comedy "The Kentucky Fried Movie." He was likewise amusing as the pompous voice of a cooking instructor in the uproariously raunchy "Revenge of the Cheerleaders." Gans narrated the documentaries "The Raw Ones," "Sexual Liberty Now," and "Go for It." On television Gans was the voices for both Kanga and Roo on the Walt Disney Channel children's show "Welcome to Pooh Corner" and the voice of Drag Strip on the "Transformers" cartoon program. He was especially effective as the metallic voice of Crimebuster in the charming sci-fi comedy "Heartbeeps" and the sinister voice of Armus on the "Skin of Evil" episode of "Star Trek: The Next Generation." Among his occasional on-screen appearances are a job interviewer in "Group Marriage," a would-be rapist in the sordid "Runaway, Runaway," and a television newscaster in "Carnal Madness."

Esther Seibt
Esther was born in Berlin Germany, grew up in Greece and returned with her family later again back to Germany. She started out as a kid. Dancing, singing, hosting. When it got more professional, she decided to make this passion her job. She hosted a kids show, when she was 10 years old. Almost every weekend, she was on stage as a dancer. She started vocal training in the age of 13 and finished her vocal training as an opera singer by the age of 23. She had several bands and projects, composed her own songs and had fun being a DJ for several occasions. When she was 14 she got her first talent agent. From then on she starred and supported more than 30 movies and TV shows up until today. National and international. After a few years of acting only, her passion for music grew stronger and she decided to go deeper into this field. Ever since she had been writing poems, short stories and articles. Now it turned into fully structured pop/rock/folk songs. In 2009, she went to Israel to record two singles, that she later decided not to put on her album, since the style wasn't what she wanted. She toured with a new program, rewrote, rerecorded until she had found the style she wanted to go for, on her first album as a solo singer. Since 2011, she is writing continuously. Spending a lot of time in New York and Los Angeles made her style grow more and more American. Her English is perfect, her writing is inspiring and her thoughts are deep. She cares about the environment and tries to be as active as possible for several projects worldwide. Over the years, she won several national awards as a painter and got attention in the media as an actress and society girl. She wants to be as independent as possible. As free as can be. And as committed as necessary to serve her and other people's tasks best. She never stopped learning. She had recently her acting trained again with f.exp. Margie Haber, Crystal Carson and Christiane Kupfer, just to name a few. To stay focused, she studies business administration and economy psychology in a correspondence course. In 2012 she continues working on her album and tours with a small acoustic concert within Germany.

Tina Carver
Smoky-voiced, sultry Tina Carver began her career in the post-war stages of Germany and France. Having married an Indiana academic who served the High Commission for Occupied Germany in a legal capacity, her acting opportunities were confined to entertaining troops under the auspices of the Special Services. Nonetheless, she had both the looks and the talent to secure leads in quality plays like "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "Miranda". In 1953, she joined a theatrical ensemble in Bad Godesberg, while her husband ran a drama workshop on the side. However, her marriage subsequently went on the rocks, resulting in an acrimonious divorce and a return to the States. Tina's screen career got off to a start with steady radio and television work in New York. In 1954, she moved to California for guest spots on two fashionable crime shows, The Whistler (1954) and The Lone Wolf (1954). This exposure resulted in several small supporting roles in feature films, and she was eventually signed under contract by Columbia. Her first role saw her third-billed, as partner-in-crime to a racketeer (played by Pat O'Brien) in Inside Detroit (1956), an expose of corruption in the Auto Workers Union. This solitary lead, in what was a relatively decent minor film noir, was unaccountably followed by a return to supporting roles in bottom-of-the-bill second-raters, like Uranium Boom (1956) and The Man Who Turned to Stone (1957). There was also an uncredited bit in the A-grade boxing drama The Harder They Fall (1956), starring Humphrey Bogart. It begs the question, who did Tina upset to drop from starlet to bit player within a year? It got worse: upon leaving Columbia, Tina took another step down the ladder to Allied Artists, where she was cast opposite Tod Andrews in the laughable creature feature From Hell It Came (1957). The monster in this typical 50's 'mutation by radiation' offering, was a walking tree stump, created by Paul Blaisdell, who later breathed life into various other beasts for Roger Corman. While this film has since attained something of a cult following (perhaps, because it is so bad, that it becomes enjoyable on a comedic level), a contemporary reviewer allegedly wrote about 'From Hell, it Came'.. .and to Hell it can go". For the remaining four years of her short tenure in Hollywood, Tina acted exclusively on the small screen, guesting in a handful of popular TV shows like Perry Mason (1957) and Bronco (1958). In January 1958, her five-year-old daughter. Katherine. was struck and killed by a car in the school zone where she was playing. As a result of her ongoing grief over this tragic accident, she lost interest in acting. She passed away in 1982 after a short illness.

Daniel Keough
Daniel was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago. He began studying voice in his last year of high school, and after graduation, attended Wright Jr. College, majoring in music. During the summer break after his freshman year, he took an acting workshop at Columbia College and got hooked on the challenge of acting. So the following fall, instead of returning to college, he enrolled as a full-time student at the prestigious, Goodman Theater School of Drama, the Theater Arts arm of the Chicago Art Institute. Following Goodman, he volunteered for the draft and served a hitch in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. Upon full-filling his tour of duty, he moved to New York City, taking up residence in Manhattan, and resumed his studies at the HB Studio, studying first with Herbert Berghof, and then with Uta Hagen. While working at various survival jobs as he attended acting classes, he also continued to study voice, and also began dance training, starting jazz dance with Matt Mattox and soon after, classical ballet at the Ballet Russe. When the summers came around, he would interrupt his training by leaving town to work in summer stock, then return to the city in the fall and resumed his pursuits. After only a year and a half of an intense training schedule, and desperate for a job in a show, he gave a go at his first Equity dance audition and won the gig. After relocating to California, he was dancing in an Equity musical comedy stage show within a month after he arrived in Hollywood, and continued to perform in shows for the first year and a half, all the while continuing his training between shows at the American School of Dance, until he was signed by a top commercial and modeling agency and immediately began to work in TV commercials and print. With auditions, fittings and bookings, there was hardly enough convenient time to continue to go to dance class regularly, so he withdrew from the discipline and quit dancing. He focused instead on the much more lucrative activity of working in advertising media. At the same time however, he concentrated again on his singing, starting with performing at the, Horn, in Santa Monica, a nightclub venue that was to singers, what the various comedy clubs are to stand-up comedians, a place to try material and perform in a club environment. He also continued with acting classes, studying with Estell Harman and then with Stella Adler every summer that she would come out from New York to teach her master class in Los Angeles. During other times he studied acting with Kenneth McMillan, musical scene study with Charles Nelson Reilly and audition presentation with David Craig, and continued voice training with various teachers and coaches. In his late thirties, as a personal challenge to see what sort of shape he could get back into, he returned to jazz dance classes at the Roland Dupre' dance facility and gave it a go for about a year, until the reality of diminished capacity convinced him to put his dance bag away for good. Also, by then he was working as an actor in all venues of media. Presently, he is semi-retired and lives in the Cahuenga Pass area of the Hollywood Hills. - IMDb Mini Biography

The label clearly sat well with Stephen, who quickly developed a great sense of comic timing, and a reputation as the "go to" funny guy. Very early in his career the camera beaconed. And after honing his skills on New Zealand Television, Stephen headed for Australia. It didn't take long for his talents to be recognized - and not just for comedy. Stints on Nickelodeans The GO Show and ABC's Review with Miles Barlow only confirmed that status. His strong resonant voice has also seen Stephen become one of Australasia's top Voice actors. These skills have been used to promote some of Australia & New Zealand's top companies and products. And in 2009, Stephen landed a lead role in the ABC animated series CJ the DJ, as the lovable Si. Gloria Gaynor
Gloria Gaynor (née Fowles; born September 7, 1943) is an American singer, best known for the disco era hits "I Will Survive" (1978), "Let Me Know (I Have a Right)" (1979), "I Am What I Am" (1983), and her version of "Never Can Say Goodbye" (1974). Gaynor was born Gloria Fowles in Newark, New Jersey, to Daniel Fowles and Queenie Mae Proctor. Her grandmother lived nearby and was involved in her upbringing. "There was always music in our house", Gaynor wrote in her autobiography I Will Survive. She enjoyed listening to the radio, and to records by Nat King Cole and Sarah Vaughan. Her father played the ukulele and guitar and sang professionally in nightclubs with a group called Step 'n' Fetchit. Gloria grew up a tomboy; she had five brothers and one sister. Her brothers sang gospel and formed a quartet with a friend. Gaynor was not allowed to sing with the all-male group, nor was her younger brother Arthur, as Gloria was a girl and he was too young. Arthur later acted as a tour manager for Gaynor. The family was relatively poor, but Gaynor recalls the house being filled with laughter and happiness, and the dinner table being open to neighborhood friends. They moved to a housing project in 1960, where Gaynor attended South Side High School; she graduated in 1961. "All through my young life I wanted to sing, although nobody in my family knew it", Gaynor wrote in her autobiography. Gaynor began singing in a night club in Newark, where she was recommended to a local band by a neighbor. After several years of performing in local clubs and along the East Coast, Gaynor began her recording career in 1971 at Columbia Records. Gaynor was a singer with the Soul Satisfiers, a jazz and R&B music band, in the 1960s. She recorded "She'll Be Sorry/Let Me Go Baby" (for the first time as Gloria Gaynor) in 1965, for Johnny Nash's "Jocida" label. Her first real success came in 1973 when she was signed to Columbia Records by Clive Davis. The fruit of that was the release of the flop single "Honey Bee". Moving on to MGM Records she finally hit with the album Never Can Say Goodbye, released in 1975. The first side of the album consisted of three songs ("Honey Bee", "Never Can Say Goodbye", and "Reach Out, I'll Be There"), with no break between the songs. This 19-minute dance marathon proved to be enormously popular, especially at dance clubs. All three songs were released as singles via radio edits and all of them became hits. The album was instrumental in introducing disco music to the public, "Never Can Say Goodbye" becoming the first song to top Billboard magazine's dance chart. It was also a hit on the mainstream Pop Charts, peaking at No. 9, and on the R&B Charts, reaching No. 34 (the original version by The Jackson 5 had been a No. 2 hit on the Hot 100 in 1971). It also marked her first significant chart success internationally, making it into the Top 5 in Australia, Canada, Germany and the UK. The song would go on to be certified silver by the British Phonographic Industry, and subsequently gold in the US. ... Myrna Velasco
Though Myrna was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, she would have never really known that growing up. She spent must of her childhood in Tijuana, Baja California with her grandmother or on her family ranch in Acton, California. In her early teens her family moved to the quiet suburbs of Santa Clarita, where out of boredom Myrna gravitated to rock music and the stage. She dabbled in dance for many years, but never really finding the exact creative expression she was looking for; she found herself reading plays out loud in her room. Though it was very clear that acting was her first love, she had many doubts in her ability to "make it" in the field, and opted to go to college for a degree in writing. By her final year, when asked what she wanted her thesis to be the only response she could give was, "Acting." Myrna forsake the college degree to fully dedicate herself to pursuing a career in the booming film industry that was in her very own backyard. From the get go, she's had many success commercially: being featured next to Will.i.am in a Coca-Cola campaign, she also flaunts her Mexican roots with several Spanish Market campaigns ranging from McDonalds to Chevy. Theatrically, Myrna has had the privilege to work on versatile roles in both film and television. She's been everything from a gun toting thug to a blushing bride, a nerdy burger girl to a bratty high school drama queen.

Al Sharpton
Alfred Charles Sharpton Jr. (born October 3, 1954) is an American civil rights activist, Baptist minister, television/radio talk show host and a former White House adviser for President Barack Obama. In 2004, he was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. presidential election. He hosts his own radio talk show, Keepin' It Real, and he makes regular guest appearances cable news television. In 2011, he was named the host of MSNBC's PoliticsNation, a nightly talk show. In 2015, the program was shifted to Sunday mornings. Sharpton's supporters praise "his ability and willingness to defy the power structure that is seen as the cause of their suffering" and consider him "a man who is willing to tell it like it is". Former Mayor of New York City Ed Koch, a one-time foe, said that Sharpton deserves the respect he enjoys among black Americans: "He is willing to go to jail for them, and he is there when they need him." President Barack Obama said that Sharpton is "the voice of the voiceless and a champion for the downtrodden." A 2013 Zogby Analytics poll found that one quarter of African Americans said that Sharpton speaks for them. His critics describe him as "a political radical who is to blame, in part, for the deterioration of race relations". Sociologist Orlando Patterson has referred to him as a racial arsonist, while liberal columnist Derrick Z. Jackson has called him the black equivalent of Richard Nixon and Pat Buchanan. Sharpton sees much of the criticism as a sign of his effectiveness. "In many ways, what they consider criticism is complimenting my job," he said. "An activist's job is to make public civil rights issues until there can be a climate for change." (Wikipedia)

Eric Appel
Director · Known for Silicon Valley, The Breadwinner
Eric Appel (born August 13, 1980) is an American filmmaker working in television, film, and commercials. Originally from Endicott, New York, Appel attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, majoring in computer animation. Describing his childhood interests, Appel said, "I was always playing around with video cameras, but I was also the kid that drew cartoons. It's weird. I was so obsessed with movies and television, but nobody ever told me that I should go to film school... [W]hen I decided to go to school for animation, it felt like a no-brainer. However, when I actually went away to college, I realized that I had made a mistake (and also that I wasn't that great at drawing). I actually spent more time working on videos with my roommate, who was majoring in video production, than I did working on my own project ." While in college, Appel also began performing improv comedy after his girlfriend brought him to a "show at the University of Pittsburgh called 'Friday Nite Improvs,' where anyone from the audience could volunteer to go up on stage and perform these improv games." After moving to New York City, Appel started taking classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, "and it wasn't long before I was basically living at the theatre. I became very involved very quickly. [I was] taking improv classes, interning, running the lights for shows and really helping out in any way that I could so I could just be around comedy as much as possible." While still in New York, Appel got a job writing for The Andy Milonakis Show, then moved to Los Angeles for that show's third season when its production was relocated to California. He subsequently wrote for Crank Yankers and Human Giant, then went to work for the comedy website Funny or Die. "Funny or Die was such a young company when they hired me...there were about eight of us all sitting around a large dining room table on laptops. Every day a few people would disappear to go shoot some shit and then the next day they would be sitting next to you editing it. Then it would go up on the site and it would either get a million hits or nobody would watch it and it would disappear and then it was on to the next thing. Everyone there worked at their own pace and you were encouraged to just go pick up a camera and make something...I used this as an opportunity to start directing my own sketches and quickly found out that not only do I like directing more than writing, but also that I'm better at it." Appel would go on pensively direct series television, with credits including Eagleheart, NTSF:SD: SUV, The Office, New Girl, Selfie, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Son of Zorn, Die Hart and The Afterparty. In 2022, Appel made his feature directorial debut with Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, based on a Funny or Die short that he directed twelve years earlier. The film won a Critics Choice Award for Best Made for Television Movie. Description above from the Wikipedia article Eric Appel, licensed under CC-BY-SA, full list of contributors on Wikipedia.
