Be Careful With My Heart is a 2012 Philippine daytime television drama which premiered on ABS-CBN on July 9, 2012 airing before It's Showtime. It is also broadcast worldwide on The Filipino Channel. It is topbilled by Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap. It is one of the most successful teleserye of ABS-CBN. It is the first television drama in the Philippines made by ABS-CBN to be filmed and broadcast in high definition.

Gloria Sevilla was an award-winning Filipino film actress. Sevilla is widely regarded as the "Queen of Visayan Movies" for her contributions in Visayan-made movies in the Philippines in the 50’s and 60’s. Sevilla received her first FAMAS Award Best Supporting Actress in the movie Madugong Paghihiganti (1962). She won the FAMAS Award Best Actress for the movie Badlis Sa Kinabuhi (1969). Sevilla appeared in movies such as Dyesebel (1978), Guhit Ng Palad (1988), Matud Nila (1991), The Flor Contemplacion Story (1995), Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay (2002), Lapu-lapu (2002), Bida si Mister, Bida si Misis (2002), and El Presidente (film) (2012). Sevilla also appeared in the Philippine television drama Be Careful With My Heart. Her first husband was Mat Ranillo Jr., a movie actor who died in a plane crash in 1969. They had six children. She got married the second time to Amado Cortez, a movie actor and director who also served as the country's ambassador to the U.S. until his death in 2003. They had one daughter. She is the mother of actress Suzette Ranillo, actor Mat Ranillo III, and singer-composer Dandin Ranillo. She died on April 16, 2022 at the age of 90 in Oakland, California.

Kevin L. Johnson

Veteran actor Kevin L. Johnson can be seen across both television and film, but he is best known for his role as 'Sam Dermody' in Netflix's hit series "Ozark" starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney. What originally started as a two-episode role in season one, led instead to Johnson portraying 'Sam' each additional season, including the fourth and final. Johnson will soon be seen as 'Eric' in Netlflix's "Florida Man," executive produced by Bateman and will guest star in the hit cult show "Stranger Things." Johnson fell in love with acting while attending Clemson University. As an assignment for his newly declared English major, Kevin was required to see "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." The grand production impacted him so greatly that he registered for acting classes the next day for the following semester. After he had a bit of formal acting training that helped the self-proclaimed introvert break out of his shell, Johnson had the confidence to audition for his first role at Clemson. While the audition didn't result in a part, Kevin became a part of the tech crew, furthering his knowledge of production. Before long Johnson won the lead role as 'Sam,' the pickle maker seeking a love match in "Crossing Delancey" at Clemson Little Theatre, before starring as 'Oswald' in a Shakespeare in the Park production of "King Lear." Additional theatre credits include the lead role of 'Willy Wonka' in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" at Easley Foothills Playhouse, 'Bardolph' in "Henry V" at Brooks Theater at Clemson University and 'Wally' in "1940's Radio Hour" at Clemson Little Theatre. Kevin also discovered that he could sing while attending auditions during college. Although his mother had been a country singer, Johnson hadn't tested his own voice until he checked out a cast recording of "Urinetown" from the library to prepare for an audition. Kevin graduated from Clemson University with a degree in English and a minor in advertising before landing an agent. He then began booking roles in commercials, including the North Carolina State Lottery and Burger King, and numerous short films. Johnson landed his first television role on the hit series "One Tree Hill," an audition he almost didn't attend. He then went on to book his first film role in "My Redneck Roots" and his first lead role in the film "Destiny Road." Johnson's expansive resume includes roles in numerous television series and films. His television credits include Cinemax's "Banshee," CBS' "Reckless," MTV's "Finding Carter," FOX's "The Resident," OWN's "Greenleaf" and OWN's "If Loving You Is Wrong." His additional film credits include "Prisoners" opposite Jake Gyllenhaal, "Careful What You Wish For" opposite Nick Jonas, "American Animals" opposite Evan Peters and "Blue Ridge" opposite Johnathon Schaech

Michael Conrad (October 16, 1925 – November 22, 1983) was an American actor, primarily on television. Conrad had a long acting career in television from the 1950s to the 1980s. In 1963 he played Felton Grimes, the title character and murder victim in the Perry Mason episode, "The Case of the Bigamous Spouse." He played far left-wingMichael Stivic's, Uncle Casimir on All in the Family, and gave bigoted Archie Bunker as good as he got. He had a memorable role in the 1974 film, The Longest Yard, playing Nate Scarboro, a retired NFL tight end (New York Giants) who was also the head coach for the Mean Machine, the team of prisoners put together by Burt Reynolds' character Paul Crewe to play the team of guards (Reynolds himself would later play the role of Scarboro in the 2005 remake starring Adam Sandler.) During the 1976-1977 season of Delvecchio, Conrad was a regular, as he played the role of Lt. Macavan. Conrad may be best known for his portrayal of veteran cop Sgt. Phil Esterhaus on Hill Street Blues, in which he ended the introductory roll call to each week's show with "Let's be careful out there". He won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in Hill Street Blues in 1981 and 1982.

John Updike

John Hoyer Updike (March 18, 1932 – January 27, 2009) was an American novelist, poet, short story writer, art critic, and literary critic. Updike's most famous work is his Rabbit series (the novels Rabbit, Run; Rabbit Redux; Rabbit Is Rich; Rabbit At Rest; and the novella "Rabbit Remembered") which chronicled the life of Harry "Rabbit" Angstrom over the course of several decades, from young adulthood to his death. Both Rabbit Is Rich (1981) and Rabbit At Rest (1990) received the Pulitzer Prize. He is one of only three authors (the others being Booth Tarkington and William Faulkner) to win the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction more than once.
