He was born in Tiraspol (Moldova), worked for many years as a choreographer, and has been living in Estonia since 2014. His hobbies include writing articles for Wikipedia, where he holds patrol status; he is also a philatelist, one of the founders of the Jõhvi Football Museum, and a volunteer at the Phoenix Football Club.
