Overview

When a terrifying mutant attack on the President propels the X-Men into the national spotlight, Professor X's dream of human-mutant coexistence is thrown into peril. General William Stryker, a shadowy figure with a personal vendetta, launches a brutal assault on the Xavier Institute, forcing Wolverine and his fellow mutants into a desperate fight for survival and a race against time to uncover Stryker's sinister plan. As allegiances are tested and the very definition of humanity is questioned, the X-Men must confront their deepest fears to protect both their own kind and a world that desperately needs them, even if it doesn't know it yet.
