Overview

In a future where the polar ice caps have melted, submerging the Earth under a vast, unending ocean, humanity clings to existence on floating atolls and precarious sea-steads. Amidst this waterlogged world, a solitary drifter, known only as the Mariner, possesses a unique evolutionary adaptation that allows him to breathe underwater. When a mysterious, dirt-smudged girl appears with a map tattooed on her back, hinting at a legendary dry land, the Mariner finds himself caught in a desperate race against the Diabolical Smokers, a ruthless band of pirates who believe the map holds the key to survival.
