Overview

A young lawyer, consumed by grief, is dispatched to a remote village to settle the affairs of a recently deceased client. Upon arrival, he finds himself plunged into an isolated and unwelcoming community, haunted by the chilling legend of a spectral presence that stalks the isolated Eel Marsh House. As he delves deeper into the estate's dark history, he uncovers a tapestry of loss and revenge, a vengeful spirit that holds the villagers captive in a cycle of terror, and soon realizes that the shadows hold far more than just the secrets of the past.
