Overview
In the summer of 1979, a group of suburban kids filming their own Super 8 movie witness a catastrophic train derailment. As they investigate the strange occurrences that follow – disappearing people, power outages, and military involvement – they realize the accident wasn't an accident at all, and something extraterrestrial has been unleashed upon their small Ohio town.
