Overview

A violent storm rages outside a Kyoto temple gate, mirroring the tempest of conflicting testimonies within. A samurai's mysterious death in the sun-dappled forest has brought together a woodcutter, a priest, a woman, and a bandit, each recounting the tragic events with their own distinct, and irreconcilable, perspective.
