Overview

When an underwater earthquake rips open a prehistoric spawning ground, something ancient and ravenous is unleashed into the waters off a popular spring break destination. The idyllic party scene quickly devolves into a primal fight for survival as a swarm of flesh-ripping piranhas, genetically reawakened and ravenous, transforms the crystal-clear ocean into a blood-soaked feeding frenzy. Amidst the chaos, a disparate group of survivors must band together, navigating treacherous currents and the relentless onslaught of razor-toothed terror, to escape the aquatic nightmare before they become the next meal.
