Overview

Maddie Barker, a cash-strapped but spirited Montauk local, accepts an unconventional job offer that promises to solve all her financial woes: to “date” and bring out of her shell the introverted, awkward nineteen-year-old son of wealthy, overprotective parents before he leaves for college. What follows is a hilariously awkward, and unexpectedly heartwarming, odyssey of forced proximity and burgeoning self-discovery, proving that sometimes the most unlikely connections can lead to the most profound revelations.
