Overview

Paul Maddens, a disillusioned former actor haunted by a past theatrical flop, finds himself reluctantly tasked with directing his primary school's Nativity play. With the pressure of winning the coveted Star of the Year award and a looming visit from his ex-girlfriend's Hollywood producer husband, Paul's cynical resolve is tested at every turn by a choir of unruly children and a suspiciously optimistic teaching assistant.
