Overview
In 1960s America, a working-class Italian-American bouncer from the Bronx is hired to drive and protect a world-class Black classical pianist on a concert tour through the deeply segregated American South. Facing prejudice, danger, and deeply ingrained societal divides, the unlikely pair must rely on the "Green Book," a guide to safe establishments for Black travelers, as they navigate a journey that will challenge their assumptions, forge an unexpected bond, and reveal the true meaning of humanity.
