In a future where emotions are deemed the cause of all conflict, a totalitarian regime has outlawed them, enforced by elite Grammaton Clerics who possess the power to execute offenders on sight. Cleric John Preston, the most skilled and unyielding of his kind, dedicates his life to eradicating this perceived evil.
