Overview

Deep in the heart of a brutal, jungle-choked war, Captain Benjamin L. Willard is dispatched on a classified mission of utmost secrecy. His orders: navigate treacherous enemy territory, venturing further upriver than any American has gone before, to find and terminate Colonel Walter E. Kurtz, a once-decorated officer who has reportedly gone rogue, embracing the very darkness he was sent to fight. As Willard journeys into the unknown, the boundaries between civilization and savagery blur, and the true cost of war, and the human psyche’s unraveling, are laid bare in a hallucinatory odyssey from which there may be no return.
