Ace Ventura, the world's most dedicated, and arguably most unhinged, pet detective, is pulled out of his enforced tropical sabbatical when a sacred white bat, the spiritual anchor of a reclusive jungle tribe, is snatched from its sanctuary. With the very balance of nature in jeopardy, Ace must venture deep into the untamed heart of Africa, battling ferocious wildlife, perplexing local customs, and his own spectacularly uncooperative instincts, all to return the missing creature and avert an impending ecological catastrophe.
